I have a new budgie. His name is Vincent, and he's a cheeky little bugger who just wants to be loved. He's almost 1m tall! I just bought this print from Leila Jeffrey's amazing Budgerigar exhibition as seen at the Iain Dawson Gallery in Paddington! I just placed my order today and am really really excited - the reason it took me so long was I couldn't decide which one! Iain tells me the budgies are now on their way to Hong Kong for an emerging artist exhibition in February. I'd highly recommend you check it out if you can, and nab one quick, before they're all gone!
helloooo! sorry for the 2 week hiatus,... have been soaking in the sights and sounds of Japan and just arrived back today. Will take me a few days to get settled back, and then will be regularly posting again!
Here are a couple of snaps from my superheadz digi harinezumi !! xxx
So, I debated about whether I wanted the digital Harinezumi 1 or 2 by Superheadz for some time. I finally decided the first version was more my thing. Without having taken it out for a proper whirl yet, I've at least got one or two happy snaps to show you.
The beauty of this camera is it mimics one of the old 110mm film cameras of the past. Its palm sized and super cute, and produced low fi, grainy, dream like images. I'll get the hang of it soon hopefully! If you want to get one of yours, check out ebaY for a better deal!
